Larry Beck has a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and several master’s degrees in higher education and information and communication sciences. He retired from Ball State University as Associate Director Emeritus of the Career Center. Larry began his affiliation with public radio as a student classical music host in Elkhart, Indiana in 1971. Larry claims not to be a jazzologist, just an avid jazz enthusiast. His collection of jazz and swing era recordings is extensive and he welcomes requests and suggestions.
