Bibi Bahrami

Listen

A woman forced to flee her native Afghanistan as a teenager is a busy volunteer in Muncie these days, but hasn’t forgotten the people of the village she left. This is the story of Bibi Bahrami – and her April 1 fundraiser (AWAKENinc.org) to help the women and children of the place she used to live.

Music in this week’s show:
Rubab Improvisation, by an anonymous rubab performer for Transparent Dari
Ei Mori Roujke (You Little Roujke), by Ensemble Pirin
