Artist uses library 3D printer to design chess sets

Chess has been around for thousands of years and seen elevation from a game to a competitive sport. But in modern times, the black and white pieces must compete with video games full of fascinating characters and worlds. One Muncie teacher is trying to liven up those pieces to attract a new audience. And as IPR’s Stephanie Wiechmann reports, he’s using technology at a local library to help.
