Briscoe in for Hinchcliffe; Mann Sore but Ready for Sunday’s 500
(INDIANAPOLIS) – Ryan Briscoe will take the place of the injured James Hinchcliffe in the Indianapolis 500. Briscoe ran practice laps on Thursday with his best speed coming in at 220.13 miles per hour. Briscoe will start in the middle of row eleven.
Pippa Mann says she’s still feeling the effects of her May 13th crash on the Speedway. Mann said she’s still dealing with rib, foot and ankle injuries and that her whole right side is still sore. She says the injuries won’t keep her from racing on Sunday and she’ll start from the 26th spot.
