(STATEHOUSE) – Governor Pence‘s Communications Staff is adding another new member. Shelly Triol will take over the position of communications director after former director Christy Denault resigned from the position earlier in the month. Triol previously worked for a pair of news stations and a communication firm in Indianapolis. Matt Llyod, a former Koch Industries spokesperson, was tabbed as Pence‘s Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Strategy just last week. The moves come after widespread criticism of the governor following the RFRA and JustIn controversies.
