Amusement-Ride Check List Available from IDHS

Published on in Uncategorized

(INDIANAPOLIS) – After several incidents in Monticello and Lafayette regarding amusement park rides it might be a good idea to study up on ride safety tips.–and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security has a four page list.

The list may seem mostly like common sense: always read the posted ride rules carefully, keep all body parts inside the ride while it’s running, and never put your child into a ride that he or she is too small or too big for.

The state has 15 certified Amusement Ride safety inspectors that perform more than 900 inspections annually.
