Study Shows Friendly Companies Yield Better Workers
(WEST LAFAYETTE) – A new Purdue University study says workers not only keep tabs on how their companies treat them, but outside parties as well. The study published in the Personnel Psychology Summer 2015 issue finds that those who work for friendly companies tend to perform better on the job. The study focused on medical workers. It links how companies treat outside parties with employees own job performance within the organization. Next step in the research is to find out if this translates to other career fields and the impact of so-called “fairness culture.”
