(ATLANTA) – The U.S. Small Business Administration says federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans are now available to small businesses, farm cooperatives, firms engaged in aquaculture and most private not for profits located in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Dearborn, Franklin, Jay, Union and Wayne counties in Indiana. This following excessive rain, flooding, excessive heat, landslides, mudslides, high winds, hail and lightning from Mar. 1 through Aug. 25th of this year. The SBA says the proximity of those counties to Ohio – which was named in a disaster declaration – make them eligible for loans to help businesses recover from financial losses. Loan amounts are up to $2 million with 2.6% interest rates.
