Telemedicine expands in Indiana on Friday

By Jill Sheridan | Published on in Uncategorized

Among the new state laws that will begin on Friday is one expanding telemedicine practices in Indiana.  As Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Jill Sheridan reports, the new law could help connect more people to doctors in a state that ranks 39th for patient-physician access.

According to the law, physicians cannot prescribe controlled substances, abortion inducing drugs, or glasses and contacts.
