Gas leak at Ball State cleared after university evacuated two buildings

UPDATE:  Ball State gave an “all clear” message about 2:50 p.m., after Muncie Fire Department cleared the scene.

ORIGINAL STORY: Ball State officials have sent out emergency notifications to report a gas leak  in the area of Riverside and McKinley Avenues in the central part of the Ball State University campus.  The Muncie Fire Department and University Police Department are responding.  Both the Applied Technologies Building and the 10-story Teacher’s College building are being evacuated as of 2:06 p.m.
