Delaware County to get nearly $1 million for roads and bridges
The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Delaware County will receive more than $981,000 for bridge repair and rural road paving. The Star Press reports INDOT approved $47 million in matching funds for projects in 102 communities. 37 miles of Delaware County’s 800 miles of roads will be paved with a mix of gravel and liquid asphalt. Henry County will receive $1 million, Randolph County $325,000, and $182,000 for Winchester, and nearly $2 million for Richmond and Wayne County.
