Helpful information directs volunteers to aid tornado-damage recovery

By Network Indiana | Published on in Uncategorized

If you want to assist those in need in storm-ravaged areas of Indiana through the Salvation Army, you can send a text message to 41444 with “Hoosier” in the body of the message to access an online donation form. The Salvation Army Indiana Division hit the road to provide resources to people in damaged areas, who may not have a home, food or other services.

Volunteers looking to travel to Kokomo to help storm victims are asked to dial 211 or visit 211connect.com.  Authorities don’t want volunteers to show up on their own unless they are told to do so. Volunteers can also contact the American Red Cross to offer volunteer assistance or to make donations.
