GOP-Written Budget Passes House With Education Funding Increases Democrats Criticize

Political parties in the Indiana House are disagreeing about funding for K-12 education for the next two years.  Today, the House Republicans biennial budget was approved, which gives a 1.1 percent increase next year and a 1.7 percent increase the year after.  But as Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Eric Weddle reports, Democrats say that’s far too little.
