It appears Sunday alcohol sales will be corked for another year. Senate President Pro Tem David Long had said three weeks ago he hoped to lead hearings on Sunday alcohol sales this session, even if a vote waited till next year. But Long says the whole discussion will “percolate” until next year. He says he’d like to see the liquor stores and supermarkets who have battled each other for years over the ban, use that time to work out a “peace accord.”
