Amtrak and the Indiana Department of Transportation are resuming their full partnership, that coming a month after INDOT and Iowa Pacific Holdings mutually parted ways in providing equipment for for the Hoosier State rail line. Amtrak will take over as the full equipment provider along with providing track coordination and ticketing — and will continue its four-day-a-week service between Indianapolis and Chicago.
