Ball State’s men’s basketball Cardinals wrap up their regular season, as Northern Illinois visits Worthen Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff. The Cards are 19-and-11 overall, and 10-and-7 atop the Mid-American Conference West Division, tied with Western Michigan.  Ball State is looking for a second-straight MAC West championship after sharing the honor with Central Michigan, last season.

The MAC Tournament is next week in Cleveland.  Depending on the results of games this weekend, Ball State could be seeded anywhere from number 2 to number 6.  The top four seeds get a first-round bye into the quarterfinal round at Cleveland.  Seeds 5 through 8 host first-round games, Monday night.

Saturday afternoon at 2, Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals wrap up their season, hosting Toledo.  The Cards are 21-and-8 overall, and 14-and-3 in the MAC West, tied with Central Michigan for first place.  Ball State has earned a first-round bye to the MAC Tournament in Cleveland, for the third straight season.
