Six months after President Donald Trump intervened in Carrier’s planned Indianapolis layoffs, the company is releasing the final number of jobs it still plans to cut.

The Department of Workforce Development got the appliance-maker’s official notification of the layoffs Monday, in a letter dated May 19.

It says 632 workers will lose their jobs at Carrier’s Indianapolis fan coil factory between late July and the end of the year.

Until now, it remained unclear exactly how many workers would be fired, after Trump convinced Carrier to take a $7 million state tax incentive deal for job retention and investment.

Carrier promised the state it would keep 1,069 jobs in Indianapolis as part of the deal. Several hundred of those jobs were never part of the layoff plan.

Carrier is eliminating the 632 Indianapolis jobs and closing its Huntington factory as it shifts some production to Mexico. Layoffs in Huntington began in March and will continue through next year.
