Gov. Holcomb Says Indiana Needs to Innovate More
Governor Holcomb says Indiana needs to retool its economy to keep up with the technology revolution. Holcomb said Indiana has to become a state that doesn’t just excel at making and growing things. It needs to become a state that excels at innovating and creating things. Holcomb points to studies predicting nearly half of today’s jobs will be automated within 20 years, from manufacturing to farming. He says states ignore that trend “at their peril.”
