Hoosier Adults Smoke More Than the Average American

A new report says over 20 percent of Hoosiers 18 years and older are regular smokers, that’s over five percent more than the national average. The most recent figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that just over 15 percent of adults in the United States smoke cigarettes on a regular basis, that’s down from 20.9 percent in 2005.
