Rebuilding Together of Delaware County

Rebuilding Together of Delaware County has a simple purpose: to make homes warm, safe and dry. Using volunteers who are willing to swing a hammer or carry a board, they help keep low-income homeowners in their own homes. All year long, they make important repairs that improve the homeowner’s safety and quality of life.

We sat down with Michelle Kaitchuck, director of operations for Rebuilding Together of Delaware County, Greg Maynard, who serves as the board president, Cornelius Dollison, a board member and volunteer, and Paul Errington and Janet Burkhart, both volunteers for the organization. They told us about how much Rebuilding Together can accomplish with just a little bit of money and time from volunteers.
