Pair of tickets to Muncie/Fort Wayne/Castleton. The Met’s 2021–22 season of live movie theater transmissions features ten spectacular productions, including four Met premieres—kicking off Oct. 9 with a revival of Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov.

 

 

$60 Contribution – “This American Life” Season One DVD
The widely popular, award-winning Chicago Public Radio show of the same name is now a Showtime show.  Host Ira Glass and company create a captivating look at the American Life in a series that’s not quite documentary, not much of a news magazine and definitely not a reality show it’s simply unlike anything else.

 

 

$75 Contribution – Chopin “Images of a Homeland” CD

American pianist Marjan Kiepura re-released this important CD especially for the 210th anniversary of the birth of the composer marked on March 1, 2020. Features popular favorites like the Raindrop Prelude, three waltzes and the Military polonaise.  The focus of this CD is a selection of 14 mazurkas.  These iconic works were closest to Chopin’s soul and showed his profound connection to his homeland.

$100 Contribution – “Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie: The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR” book
A group biography of four beloved women who fought sexism, covered decades of American news, and whose voices defined NPR.
