Donnelly hopes mental health legislation will drop military suicides

Suicides among members of the country’s armed services are on pace to decline this year for the second consecutive year. Yet for three straight years, more members of the military have died by suicide than in a combat situation. As Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports, Indiana’s US Senator Joe Donnelly is hoping his legislation will help drop all those numbers.
