(INDIANAPOLIS)- State officials say that Indiana has allocated all of its federal highway funding ahead of the September. 30th deadline. INDOT announced that they invested all of the nearly $898 million in highway funds. A quarter of that funding is for local construction projects. By law any funds that were not properly assigned have to be sent back to Washington and spread out among other states.
