Social workers learn how to help homeless Hoosier students

State numbers show there are more than 18,000 Hoosier students studying in schools without permanent homes. And that number has increased greatly in the last few years. IPR’s Stephanie Wiechmann joined social workers in Marion this week to learn how state and local organizations are reaching out to homeless kids.
