New Indiana Ag Strategic Plan Introduced

The state has rolled out a 10-year plan to grow Indiana agribusiness. The last strategic plan for agriculture was 11 years ago. Department of Agriculture director Ted McKinney says with all the changes since then, it’s time for a new one. He says Indiana’s ag economy is more diverse now, with manufacturers of pet food and farm equipment, and more and more companies which process crops and livestock after they leave the farm.
