The Madison County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency says police have a suspect in custody after a shooting near Alexandria, earlier this (Wed.) morning.

WISH-TV reports a male victim was flown to Indianapolis Methodist Hospital in serious condition.

A female suspect was being sought in the area of State Road 9 and Madison County Road 1450-North.

As a result of the manhunt, both Madison-Grant and Alexandria Community Schools were delayed two hours, this morning.
