The Indiana Finance Authority has completed a settlement with private I-69 contractors, for the state to take over direct control of Section 5 of the project that runs from Bloomington to Martinsville. The settlement comes as Governor Holcomb and other leaders in Indianapolis were growing frustrated with repeated delays on the highway by private contractors. Now the state is in full control of construction which has a rough completion date of August 2018.
