Heavy Snow Forecast for Friday and Saturday
Heavy snow is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday. The National Weather Service is forecasting just over 7 inches of snowfall, beginning Friday morning just after 8 a.m. Snowfall will continue until around 11 p.m., Saturday. Winds will pick up out of the northeast with gusts to 25 mph, and wind-chill temperatures dropping to the single digits above zero, early Saturday morning. Snowfall amounts could change as forecast computer modeling gathers more data as the incoming storm approaches.
