We are now in a computer “breach season.” It’s a time during the year that we see a surge in security breaches by computer hackers, that’s according to Ron Pelletier with Pondurance. He says his cyber security company sees an 80-percent increase in breaches or attempted breaches between February and April almost every year. He says tax season falls in this time period, and with so many people filing their taxes online those documents can be a target of online attackers.
