The Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL have agreed to become the minor league affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights. It’s a one-year affiliation agreement that will also partner the Komets with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. The Golden Knights brought National Hockey League action to Las Vegas last season and is a member of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. In their inaugual season in the NHL, they made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to the Washington Capitals.
