Ball State will try to go 2-and-1 in the Mid-American Conference, tomorrow at Central Michigan in a MAC West Division contest.  Kickoff is at 3 p.m. on ESPN-Plus. The Cards rank second in the MAC in total offense, averaging 458.3 yards per game. Meanwhile, CMU ranks first in total defense at 350.7 yards per game. Ball State is also second in scoring defense at 24 points per game – a vast improvement over last season’s last-place ranking in that category, allowing 40.7 points per game.

Elsewhere with the state’s big four, Notre Dame hosts Pittsburgh for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on NBC.  Iowa visits Indiana for the Hoosiers’ homecoming game at noon on ESPN-2, and Purdue travels to Illinois. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. on FS-1.
