Vice President Mike Pence says creation of a U.S. Space Force is happening. During a meeting of the National Space Council Tuesday, Pence said a Space Force will enhance the safety and security of the American people. Pence warned that adversaries like Russia and China are trying to disrupt U.S. satellites and want to transform space into a war-fighting domain. A Space Force would be a sixth branch of the U.S. armed forces.
