A Richmond school that was the site of a shooting will remain closed until January.

Last Thursday, 14-year-old Brandon Clegg exchanged gunfire with police and died by suicide inside Dennis Intermediate School.  No students were harmed, but the district has kept the building closed for clean-up.

Classes will resume Wednesday for Dennis Intermediate students, but district officials say those classes will meet at the high school.

Police are continuing to investigate.  They say Clegg was not a student at the school.

The district says Dennis Intermediate will reopen to students after winter break ends January 7th.
