Muncie motorists will have to take alternate routes, on Wheeling Ave., at McGalliard Road near the Northwest Plaza shopping center for  a few hours on Tuesday.

City officials released this statement:  “Weather permitting, Wheeling Avenue will be closed just south of the McGalliard intersection on Tuesday 3/10/20 from 3am-6am and 9am-11am.  Utility relocation is required across Wheeling, please drive with caution near this intersection during that time. McGalliard will still be open, however citizens will be unable to turn south. Detour signage will be in place showing alternate north/south routes along Walnut Street (east of Wheeling) and Oakwood Avenue (west of Wheeling).”
