Ball State President Geoff Mearns released a new video speaking directly to students regarding COVID-19 safety as move-in week continues on the BSU campus.  Students have not resided on campus — with the exception of around 100 enrollees with housing or travel issues — since the statewide pandemic shutdown last March.  Mearns also noted the university has spent a lot of time and money getting its facilities ready for the new school year, including the purchasing of thousands of masks. He says that he has confidence students will do the right things to defeat the virus.

Mearns ends the video, photographed outside of the administration building, masking up and urging students to do the same.
