Number Of COVID Hospitalizations Dropping In Delaware County; IUH-BMH Has Enough Staff, PPE

Indiana’s pandemic death toll has tragically crossed the 9,000 mark as we are in the midst of a post-holidays surge of new COVID-19 cases. However, there is some good news: Vaccines are being dispensed more widely, and the numbers of patients needing hospital treatment for the virus are dropping, at least in Muncie.

Joining us for his first hospital pandemic update of 2021 is Dr. Jeff Bird, President of IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, and IU Health Blackford and Jay hospitals.
