Delaware County, State COVID Numbers Still Trending Downward

Public health officials reported on Wednesday 819 new cases of COVID-19 in Indiana. The state Department of Health also announced the seven-day positivity rate was 4.8 percent with 12 new deaths.

Meanwhile, here in Delaware County, the county’s health department says 12 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 with no new deaths. The county’s positivity rate has now dropped to 5.2 percent, and its COVID-spread rating has dropped to a Yellow-Level 1.0, down from yesterday’s 1.5, on a three-point scale.
