Delaware County’s COVID Numbers Worsen

Delaware County’s COVID numbers continue to get worse. The county has moved up to a Yellow-Level 1.5 COVID-spread rating on a three-point scale, with a Red-Level 3 being the worst. Around a week ago, the county was at a Blue-Level 0.5 rating.

The county reported 24 New cases with a 5.9 percent, seven-day, positivity rate; the statewide positivity rate is 4.8 percent. No new deaths have been noted.

Meanwhile, Blackford County, just north of Muncie, has a Blue-Level zero rating — the lowest COVID spread rating in the state, shared with Warren County in western Indiana.
