Ball State concludes the fifth week of its 10-week summer semester, today. The university has changed its mask mandate as COVID-19 infection rates have dropped, statewide, thanks to vaccinations and thanks to health protocols, headlined by masking.

Ball State’s summer enrollment is down slightly compared to the summer of 2020, and, so far, down a bit for this fall as the effects of the pandemic continue to impede enrollments at numerous schools, across the country.

And Ball State’s President Geoff Mearns was elected recently to Chair the Mid-American Council of Presidents.
