BSU President Mearns: “Ball YOU” Program Designed To Help All BSU Students To Promote Themselves

Member institutions of the NCAA are scrambling to figure out what to do about the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling on benefits accorded to student athletes, who can now earn compensation for the use of their Name, Image, and Likeness, or NIL.  Ball State University has a program called “Ball YOU” that is available to student athletes and all other students at the school to assist them in promoting themselves via digital media.

We’ll talk about that, the university’s staff and faculty vaccination numbers and its readiness to pivot back to online instruction should it be needed during the next school year, this week on the Ball State Pandemic Update.
