50 percent of Delaware County’s 12+ population fully vaccinated against COVID-19

The Indiana State Department of Health reported Tuesday 1,519 new positive COVID cases, with 61 newly reported deaths, and a statewide, 7-day positivity rate of 8.8%. Total positive cases recorded so far during the pandemic, statewide total 1,001,697.

Delaware County, meanwhile, reported 25 new cases, 1 new COVID death, and a 7.5% seven-day positivity rate.  The county remains at an Orange Level 2 COVID spread rating, with positivity rates falling. The county has now seen a total of 15,006 positive cases.

56.8 percent of Hoosiers 12 years old and older have been fully vaccinated. Exactly 50% of the 12+ population of Delaware County are now fully vaccinated.
