Ball State President on active-shooter readiness and fall enrollment figures

Ball State is wrapping up the third week of the 10-week summer semester.  Roughly, over that same three-week period, the United States has suffered the losses of innocent people at the hands of gunmen in at least three, high-profile, mass shootings.

What is Ball State doing to avert such danger for its students, faculty, and staff? And, what can a university president do to reduce the risk of gun violence on campus and beyond?
