Last year, Anderson University President John Pistole announced he'd be retiring on June 1st, 2025, after ten years leading the Church of God affiliated liberal arts school. Now, Anderson University has chosen Scott Moats to succeed him, becoming the sixth president, most recently moved to his adjunct faculty at Bethel University. He's earned several degrees over the years, including a theological degree from Alliance Theological Seminary in New York and a PhD from the University of Minnesota.
