So it's prostate cancer, but it's, it has moved from the slow moving kind to a faster moving kind. So, we're going to have a surgery, to remove it.

He says in the next 30 to 40 days, that surgery will cause him to miss six weeks of work. Muncie no longer has a deputy mayor with budget cuts eliminating the position in late 2024 going forward. It was a position Ridenour had reinstated in his first term.
