Trying to really, give people second chances and and really just help them on their journey. 00;00;43;11 - 00;01;03;13 Stephanie Wiechmann The same week the new facility’s ribbon was cut, the city of Muncie announced the Muncie Crisis Center would end its addiction and mental health services at the beginning of July. The center was opened in 2025 as a 24 hour, staffed location to help with mental health and addiction episodes. It was transferred to Muncie Mission for a dollar in April so the Mission could begin a basic health clinic. 00;01;03;18 - 00;01;12;07 Stephanie Wiechmann The current crisis services with Meridian Health Services were set to expire at the end of the year, but the company is ending the contract early.
