August 2023: The Golden Decade of American Jazz
This month, we’re celebrating the decade of the 1950s and the incredible amount of change which took place in the development of jazz and its place in American music. We’ll be listening to a number of artists who redefined jazz after World War 2, including John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Chet Baker, Dave Brubeck, Stan Getz, and many others.
