(INDIANAPOLIS) – Several big road construction projects are set to begin in central Indiana this week– the biggest being in downtown Indianapolis in the South Split.

INDOT is closing the ramp at midnight from Interstate 65 north to Interstate 70 west. INDOT says it will be working to fix the Morris and Prospect street bridges that are decades old.

In Hamilton County–two major projects get underway on US 31–one in Westfield near State Road 32 and another in Carmel between Interstate 465 and 116th Street.
