(INDIANAPOLIS) – Which dish should win the Signature Food Contest for the 2015 Indiana State Fair? Public voting kicked off Monday to determine the winner of the annual contest. Participants were asked to create a new menu item using farm-fresh ingredients native to Indiana. This year‘s contenders include deep-fried sweet corn, a maple-walnut waffle sundae, a smoked pig patty, a turkey Indiana (a take on a turkey Manhattan), a s‘mores milkshake or fried apple pie bites on a stick.
