U.S. DHS Says Refugee Vetting Process Improved

The deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security says the nation’s vetting process for Syrian refugees is always being strengthened.

As Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Alexander McCall reports, the secretary’s statement comes on the heels of more than two dozen governors’ decision to suspend refugee resettlement in their states.
