Ball State opened the front door to Scheumann Stadium last (Tues.) night and a “MAC” truck by the name of Bowling Green rammed the Cardinals by a score of 48-to-10. Ball State gave up 576 yards on defense, and gained only 264 yards on offense.

The Cards wrapped up the season with a 3-and-9 record. Bowling Green returns to Ohio with a 9-and-3 record. The Cards finish the year in fifth place out of six teams in the MAC West, with a conference mark of 2 and 6.

In its last three games, the Ball State defense gave up a total of 1,894 yards, or an average of 631 yards a game.
